Step 1:Shuffle the deck of cards well and place it face down in front of you.

Step 2:Now reveal two cards, place them next to each other and think about which of these two values ​​describes you better. Place that one to the left of the stack and the other to the right.

Step 3:Repeat step 2 until the middle of the stack is processed.

Step 4:Now take the left stack, shuffle it again and proceed as in step 2.

NOTE:If you reveal two values ​​that are both extremely important to you, compare them anyway and decide. Only now, place the other value on a "Maybe" pile. At the end of each round, look at this pile and decide whether any values ​​from this pile need to be carried over to the next round.

Step 5:Play until you end up with 5-10 values. You can then create your own top list of values ​​or give the values ​​equal weighting, thus viewing your core values ​​as the foundation of your life.

• When comparing values, always ask yourself questions like "Which is more ME?" or "Which value defines me more?"
• Do NOT choose the values ​​you would like to have, because that is not you, or check carefully whether it is a desired value or a true value for you
• Also check whether certain values ​​are really your values ​​and not those that have been instilled in you by others (parents, friends, boss, etc.).
